| Flaws | : | D1T1 tuning is from the AUD. Ramble on Rose is a mix of SBD and AUD until 2:13, then all SBD. Last 35 seconds of Row Jimmy patched in from "Phil's Tape". Let it Grow is patched in the middle from "Phil's Tape", about 20 seconds. Likewise, 20 seconds of US Blues were patched in from "Phil's Tape". All-in-all an awesome show, with amazingly good splices and patches. Unlike the Cornell splicing, this one doesn't seem to take away from the music. |

| Show Notes | : | "Phil's Tape" reported to be the one made by Phil with Mikes onstage. |
| My Comments | : | This show is a bit rough around the edges, but the band is loose and Jerry's picking, and Keith's tickling, are absolutely HOT this night. The best parts are quite often in the jams between verses, or what they're playing while they're singing (so if you're wondering why I like this version of Ramble on Rose so much, listen to the instruments, not the vocals). El Paso trucks along at an absolutely feverish pace -- at one point Bob says "Easy boys." to try to get them to back off a bit.. It's quite nice!
Judging from the number of songs that I pick as outstanding from this show, I'd say I like it (a lot). |
